  • 2010: Nicolas Rodan, a celebrity polo player, donated free polo lessons to a charitable event hosted at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago. “Riding horses at age 2, swinging a mallet at 8 and turning pro at 14, Nicolas ‘Nic’ Roldan has virtually lived his 28 years immersed in the world of polo. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and raised in Wellington, he comes by the sport naturally. His grandfather enjoyed the adrenaline-charged sport for many years, and his father was a professional who played for the Sultan of Brunei's team. […] This year, Roldan will be involved in charity work for Juvenile Diabetes and St. Jude's Children's Hospital. He also is putting together a polo team for Habitat for Humanity, which he will lead. And he is donating a private polo lesson for Florence Fuller's We Dream Ball and the December March of Dimes Glitz with Donald and Melania Trump at Mar-a-Lago.” (Palm Beach Daily News, December 26, 2010)
