  • Katrina Campins, a real estate agent, was also a finalist on a season of Trump’s “The Apprentice.” “She's among the finalists waiting to hear Donald Trump say ‘You're hired!’ on his popular reality show, The Apprentice. […] Campins will talk about her career as a top-producing real estate agent - and, of course, about her experience on the TV show. Campins, as nearly everyone on the planet knows by now, is among the six finalists who are hoping to become a member of Team Trump. She's ‘a beautiful girl who says she's never been duped,’ Trump told Palm Beach Post TV critic Kevin Thompson last week. ‘And everybody's been duped.’” (Palm Beach Post, March 15, 2004)
  • Campins ultimately placed seventh on the show. “The Donald may have fired her from The Apprentice reality show but Katrina Campins is coming back to South Florida a winner. And not just in her real estate career - in which she already is one of the leading agents in the entire country. Campins is now looking at a potential book deal, a real estate talk show and endorsing razor and hair-care products - even cellphones - after the 24-year-old with flowing tresses and long legs became known as the ‘sex symbol’ of the show. […] She said she was cast as the show's sexy contestant who wasn't above flirting to close a deal. She ended up being set up - and fired - on the segment shown Thursday, she said, by her arch-enemy on the show, Amy Henry of Austin, who now is the only female of the six contestants remaining.” (Miami Herald, March 27, 2004)
  • Campins claimed she had negotiated a joint business project with Trump following her defeat on his television show. “‘You're fired.’ Famous last words? Not for Katrina Campins. The leggy, 24-year-old real-estate agent may have been sacked by Donald Trump, but The Apprentice was just a TV show. In the real world, Campins says, they're cooking up a deal. Shortly before the apprentices reassembled to help The Donald celebrate his 58th birthday two weekends ago at his Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, N.J., Katrina made a pitch in his Manhattan office. ‘You'll hear about it soon,’ Katrina said before speaking to the Boca Raton Real Estate Investment Club at the Boca Raton Marriott on Thursday. Campins wouldn't elaborate, except to say it would involve NBC. As if she didn't have enough on her highly polished plate.” (Palm Beach Post, June 16, 2004)
